About Me

I’m Bethany and here’s my story.

I was definitely an explorer in a past life. Even in this life, as a child, I was thoroughly obsessed with the Rockies in Colorado and the pyramids in Egypt (I had a total crush on King Tut). *Fun Fact: I’m 39 now, pretty well traveled, passionate about movement, nature and history, and I still haven’t been to Colorado OR Egypt!

But I have been other places and done other things. Almost 20 years ago, while bored at an office job in Philadelphia, I decided to shake things up and move to Barcelona for a while. After swiftly running out of money, I landed a job on Italian cruise ships.

From that moment, travel became my life. Personally & professionally. I’ve done everything from guiding to planning to writing about it.
